Not too long ago, we received official word that Forza was soon to be making it’s way onto the Windows 10 platform, along with all future Forza titles. The first Forza title to kick this off however, is the upcoming Forza 6: Apex title, which is exclusive to Windows 10.

Apex will be a free-to-play title for Windows 10, and will ultimately allow Turn 10 studio’s to begin testing and tinkering with the Forza series underneath the Windows 10 platform. The game has already been announced to include micro transactions,  so while the title will be free to access and play, you can definitely expect to come across some sort of benefits that will only be available to players who pay some sort of small fee.

Turn 10 recently stated in a press release – “As development continues, players can expect to see updates and improvements to Forza Motorsport 6: Apex including wheel support, the ability to disable VSync and an in-app framerate counter,”

Forza Motorsport 6: Apex is a single-player experience featuring 63 cards, 20 track configurations, and a 12-event “Showcase Tour” career mode. Meanwhile, the “Spotlight Series” will provide event-style races to challenge players and will be updated regularly. There is no multiplayer, but players will be able to compete against the cloud-based “Drivatars” based on the driving style of their online friends. The livery editor will not be included, but designs from the game’s community are expected to be available eventually.

The company has also recently released information regarding the recommended system specifications for the title, for any of those with a PC that may be interested in giving Forza a spin on their Windows 10 software.
