    Guitar Hero Live Announced

The Guitar Hero series has been on a hiatus for a long time now. Several years ago, Activision did announce that they would be taking a considerably long break from making Guitar Hero games, but it seems they were just waiting for the perfect time to bring the series back, and it seems now is that time!

With Rock Band 4 being recently announced, Activition held their own by officially revealing today, Guitar Hero Live, the next game in the Guitar Hero Franchise. Guitar Hero Live seems to be taking a different approach to the series than what we’ve seen in previous games; first and foremost, the game is now played in the first person, giving the player a more realistic guitar playing experience per-say. The colored buttons also seem to be gone based on the trailer, now being replaced with black and white buttons.

The game also has two brand new modes, Guitar Hero Live, and Guitar Hero TV. Guitar Hero Live sounds just like what it is, the game will put you on a stage in front of thousands of people, they’ll react in real time with your play, and actions on stage; messing up your gig will tick them off, but keeping the vibe the going will keep the crowd moving. Guitar Hero TV on the other hand goes back to the more traditional style of Guitar Hero, allowing you to play various songs along with music videos, and clips.

Guitar Hero Live will be arriving on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U this fall! All previous Guitar Hero hardware will not be compatible with Guitar Hero Live due to their new button layout format. Let’s just hope they don’t charge us over $100 for both the game and the hardware.
