Remember Roller Champions? The intriguing 3v3 Rollerblading-based PvP game that was revealed back during last and quite possibly the final E3? Yeah, I forgot about it to. But surprisingly, the game is still alive, and apparently even receiving some cool updates!
Roller Champions has evolved quite a bit since 2019, in case you haven’t heard about it since. From receiving a full launch back in 2022, to now being playable on all modern console generation hardware (Yes, even the Switch); it seems Ubisoft may be making the push to bring the game more into the limelight – and this time with a surprising crossover!
During the Ubisoft Forward presentation, the company revealed that a Roller Champions x Jet Set Radio crossover will soon be taking place, something that should rightfully happen, to be honest, if your game centers around the activity of rollerblading. Not only will you be able to play as popular JSR icons Gum, and Beat during the cross-over, but the entire Roller course will also be transformed into a bus stop sort of stage from the Jet Set Radio title. Players will be able to partake in a special event quest during the cross-over, earn a player banner, as well as a special JSR “goal effect”.
The Roller Champions x Jet Set Radio crossover takes place from June 27th – July 14th.
Roller Champions is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Ubisoft Store.
