It’s news to no one that when Halo: The Master Chief Collection launched on Xbox One in mid-November last year, the game was full of errors and issues. Luckily for us, Microsoft has announced that they will be gifting all players who have played the game on their systems before December 19th, 2014, a free month of Xbox Live Gold Membership as an apology. The free month is happening right now, and you will have received a message in your live inbox notifying you that it has been applied to your account.
Players also will be receiving a free ODST add-on, as well as a free Halo 2 remastered map that will be available later this year. Thanks Microsoft!
