During Nintendo’s March Direct that took place earlier today, the company announced that favorite titles from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, will be making their way to the 3DS eShop, exclusively for New 3DS/New 3DS XL users.
Pilotwings, Super Mario World, and F-Zero for the SNES were available immediately after the presentations conclusions.
The company then announced that Super Mario Kart, Earthbound, and Donkey Kong Country were on the way for March 24th, with The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid and Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest, were also on the way for April 24th.
It’s about time that we finally see SNES titles arriving for the 3DS Virtual Console, even if the titles are only available to play on New 3DS systems. While many players have been anticipating the arrival of GBA titles on the 3DS eShop, I suppose this is the next best thing.
