Microsoft’s Project Scoprio console is the next big console release within the video game industry; and with it originally being announced to be in the works last year at E3, we’ve since heard little to no information regarding the console. We’re pretty much just as in the dark as we were with the Nintendo Switch, before Nintendo released that October reveal trailer. Luckily, however, it seems we’ll finally be getting another batch of information regarding the console, or perhaps even a proper reveal – this Thursday,

The next batch of information is set to arrive from at least one site confirmed so far, being Eurogamer’s Digital Foundry. The site recently tweeted out today that they will have an exclusive Xbox Scorpio reveal this Thursday at 2pm UK/6am Pacific.

Not much more information was revealed aside from that, so for all we know we could be receiving a reveal regarding some of the consoles features, rather than a full-on showcase reveal. So far, we know that the Scorpio is set to be a beast of a machine with 320 GBs of memory bandwidth and a 8 CPU cores. Microsoft has even already claimed it to be the most powerful console to ever be made.

Despite a reveal set up for this week, it’s quite likely that this one will be something minor, and that we’ll receive a full-on reveal right at the start of Microsoft’s E3 2017 Press Conference, which is set to take place this June. Until then, we’ll be on the hunt for the latest rumors, announcements, and reveals surrounding the Project Scorpio.
