Psychonauts 2 Announced during The Game Awards Glake Riuno December 4, 2015 Gaming News, PC, PS4, Xbox One Along with the numerous announcements that have come out of The Game Awards show that took place last night, another one of the most notable was definitely the announcement of Psychonauts 2. While I haven’t played the first game, or even know about the series in general, the game seems to be quite loved among gamers; obviously great enough to get a sequel. Double Fine will be the company who will be developed the game, however it will need to be crowdfunded. The developers are taking funds currently on a site called Fig. A recently interview held by Kotaku with Tim Schafer, has released, regarding the game. Some notable details were announced that you may want to know. It is still in early pre-production. Psychonauts 2 will explore more of Raz’s backstory, including his family’s curse to always die in water, as well as more adventures through different minds. There’ll be some new psychic powers mixed in with the old ones. A lot of the old team is getting back together: Erik Wolpaw will help write it, Peter Chan will be doing more concept art, Peter McConnell is doing the music. Voice actors Richard Horvitz (Raz) and Nikki Rapp (Lily) will also be returning.
