I’m not much of a sports guys, but competitive snowboarding as a special place in my heart, despite never actually competing in snowboarding myself; at least in real life. With that said, this is exactly why SSX is probably one of my all-time favorite franchises to ever be released!
If you are a huge SSX fan like I am, you’ll probably be happy to hear that the latest title in the franchise, which was in fact a reboot that release back in 2012, “SSX”, has been released on the Xbox One via Backwards Compatibility. SSX launched on PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2012, and while it wasn’t as solid as what I believe to be everyone’s favorite in the franchise, SSX 3, this one is definitely not to be slept on, either.
It’s great to see more fan favorites beginning to arrive on backwards compatibility. With Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Black Ops, and all of the Gears of War titles, recently releasing on Xbox One backwards compatibility, it’s probably safe to safe that Microsoft has begun to pick up the speed with releasing the fan-favorite classics on backwards compatibility, with likely more big classics on the way!
