Star Ocean 5 coverage has been making waves over in Japan of late. While most of the attention and coverage for the game has been for the Japanese version, many may have forgotten that the game is in fact coming to the US as well.
As announced during a recent Twitch broadcast which featured the game, Star Ocean 5 will officially be making its way west sometime this summer.
Entitled Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness, the game will be arriving on PlayStation 4 on March 31st in Japan, while the PlayStation 3 version will be arriving in Japan on April 28th. Summer release information for the US version is set to be announced soon.
It has also been revealed that the PlayStation 3 version of the game will not be getting a release outside of Japan. Assuming many people have already upgraded to the PlayStation 4, I cannot see this as that big of an issue for those looking to jump into the next Star Ocean adventure.
Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness will see the series’ latest release since its last title, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, which launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360 back in 2009.
