Something I’ve dreamed about ever since owning a PlayStation 4, was finally being able to catch-up on all of the Kingdom Hearts titles before Kingdom Hearts 3 drops (whenever that may be.) Unfortunately, the only way to do this would be to pickup a PlayStation 3, and hopefully get my hands on all of the Remixes available on that platform – which might be a bit difficult at this point.

But regardless of that, Square Enix have finally made the best decision they could possibly making regarding the KH franchise right now – and have decided to release both Kingdom Hearts remasters on the PlayStation 4! This comes as a shock to many, as Square has stated in the past that they had no plans to release the remixes on the PlayStation 4. This was reasonable, and perhaps led many to believe that eventually they would be available to play on the PlayStation 4 via PlayStation Now; however, that never came to be.

It’s quite likely Square Enix has been paying attention to what the fans want, and are also capitalizing on an opportunity to raise the Kingdom Hearts interest, even more, before they drop an official release date for the title.

The Kingdom Hearts titles which are set to head to the PlayStation 4 are as follows:

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix
• Kingdom Hearts Final Mix
• Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories
• Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (HD remastered cinematics)

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX
• Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
• Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix
• Kingdom Hearts Re:coded

So yeah, basically everything to fully get you caught up with the story. All of the games will be bundled into one, for the price of one, so you won’t have to worry about buying multiple copies as well as spending the extra cash.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1/5 + 2.5 ReMIX will be arriving on the PlayStation 4 on March 28th, 2017.
