It wouldn’t be a reveal day without tons of leaking coming out just mere hours before the official announcement. Today Treyarch and Activision set-out to reveal the official trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and I must say, it’s looking very good and different thus far! The game takes place in a more futuristic setting than compared to it’s predecessor, but then again, that seems to be the step they’ve been taking since Black Ops 2, so it would only make sense that this one is at least a few more years into the future. Technology seems to be at the core of everything in this day and age, and the game seems to be focused around how it can be used against us.

I can only explain so much, but I must say, you’re much better off checking out the trailer!

Earlier, several details of the game were also leaked as the official description/box art content was released online giving readers a glimpse at what they can expect new in Black Ops 3.

    PREPARE FOR A LEVELED-UP MULTIPLAYER
    –New Movement System
With Black Ops III, Treyarch premieres a new momentum-based chained-movement system, allowing players to fluidly move through the environment with finesse, using controlled thrust jumps, slides and mantling abilities in a multitude of combinations, all while maintaining complete control over your weapon at all times.
    –Tailored Map Design
Maps are designed from the ground-up for the new movement system, allowing players to be succesful with traditional movement, as well as advanced tactics and maneuvers.
    –Specialist Characters
Black Ops III Multiplayer also introduces the new Specialist character system, which allows players to rank up and master each specific character’s battle-hardened capabilities and weapons. With this addition to Traditional and Weapons XP progression systems, Black Ops III multiplayer gives players three different ways to rank up.

Sounds pretty sick eh? Along with this information, as stated earlier, came the official box-art. The game is officially confirmed to be on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC only at the moment. Rumors of a possible Wii U launch have been swirling around the web the last couple days, but I suppose we will just have to wait and see whether or not this turns out to be legit.

Lastly and most importantly, the game will be launching on November 6th 2015, surprising right? Along with this, those who have pre-ordered the game will also receive access to the multiplayer beta, so be sure to reserve your copy now if you want to get that competitive edge!
