The Last Guardian has seen several delays since it’s first ever reveal back in 2009, about seven or so years ago. Up until last years E3, details on the game were silent, with many believing the title to be a cancelled project, not yet officially told to the public. During E3 2015, we learned that was not the case, as the title was still in-development and was readying to be released on the PlayStation 4. Flash-forward to 2016, and The Last Guardian finally received it’s official release date. Originally due for October 25th, however, the game has just recently been…
It’s been a long year of intense waiting and anticipation for Nintendo fans of all sorts. Ever since Nintendo confirmed the existence of a new console in development, fans have been speculating, and trying to piece together various rumors, like some large conspiracy theory. Needless to say, we’ve been waiting quite some time for an official reveal of the upcoming “NX” console, and now, I think everyone can agree with me when I say that – many of us just don’t have that much patience in us left. Just weeks before E3 2016 kicked off, Nintendo announced that the NX…
It’s been quite a long time coming, but today, Sony finally unveiled neon future, (pun totally intended) , for it’s PlayStation 4 console. As highly rumored earlier throughout the year, Sony has been working on a more high-end PlayStation 4 model, capable of 4K functions, HDR gaming, a more powerful CPU and more. Today we were finally shown this piece of beauty, which is now officially known as the PlayStation 4 Pro. The PlayStation 4 Pro is basically the PlayStation 4’s big brother. It takes all you know and love about the original PS4, but matures each and every part,…
If you’ve read some of our previous articles regarding the recent updates surrounding World of Final Fantasy, then you probably already know that I’m extremely excited for this game, perhaps even just as excited as I am for Final Fantasy XV. Why may you ask? Well, World of Final Fantasy is unique, the chibi art-style is simply adorable, and the overall vibrant and clean visuals of the game will make anyone fall in love at first sight. Coming straight out of PAX West, a brand new trailer for the game has been released which features two of the main characters…
If you’re a PlayStation fan, odds are you’ve been following the latest rumors and speculation regarding the likely upcoming announcement of both the recently leaked PlayStation 4 Slim, as well the the highly rumored PlayStation Neo/PlayStation 4.5 console! For some time now, it has been expected that both systems would officially be revealed during an upcoming NYC meeting that Sony will be holding. This is now officially looking to be the case as the company has recently came out, and provided details as to when and where you’ll be able to watch the upcoming meeting. As announced over on the…
Call of Duty XP has officially kicked off! And with that, all of the Call of Duty announcements are pouring out! If you are even the slightest Call of Duty fan, you’ll definitely want to be paying attention to the XP Convention this weekend, as both Treyarch and Infinity Ward are busy revealing details surrounding their respective Call of Duty titles. One of the more recent announcements coming out of Call of Duty XP surrounds the multiplayer of the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Edition. Earlier this year, we learned that only 10 of the multiplayer maps would…
Earlier this year, Nintendo and Square Enix revealed that both Dragon Quest VII and Dragon Quest VIII would be receiving 3DS ports, which were slated to arrive sometime during late 2016. While Dragon Quest VII was shown off and touched upon during Nintendo’s 3DS focused Direct presentation which took place this week, we can’t really say the same about Dragon Quest VIII. During the presentation, Nintendo confirmed that Dragon Quest VIII would be arriving in 2017, ultimately delaying the game from it’s initial late 2016 release window. It’s not all that big of a deal, as fans of the series…
Mario Sports title have always been a hit or miss sort of endeavor for Nintendo in the past, but it seems the company is now compiling all we know and love about some of the most prominent Mario Sports releases, and shoving them all into one game. Mario Sports: Superstars was announced during the company’s recent 3DS focused Direct Presentation. The game features a handful of sports, including Baseball, Soccer, Tennis, Golf, and even Horse Racing. The game is essentially a Mario Sports Mix 2, except featuring a few different sports and more of your favorite Nintendo characters. During the…
Much like the recently announced Super Mario Maker for the 3DS, Nintendo has also recently announced yet another 2015 Wii U release title – will soon be making it’s way to the 3DS as well. The highly loved Yoshi’s Woolly World, is that title! Yoshi’s Wooly World for the Nintendo 3DS is set to include all we know and love from the Wii U version, shoved into a more compact and on-the-go version. The 3DS version also comes with a few new features, however. Including a dedicated mode where you can play as Poochy, that play as a sort of…
Pikmin are adorable little creatures, well some of them. And it seems like Nintendo just can’t get enough of them. Awhile back we heard various confirmation regarding future Pikmin titles, but I don’t think anyone thought another title would be announced so soon. During Nintendo’s recently 3DS focused Direct presentation, the company concluded the show by revealing a brand new Pikmin title, which will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS. Unlike the other Pikmin titles, Pikmin 3DS will be a platformer, where you play as Captain Olimar once again, as various Pikmin help you along your every step. While not…
