Some pretty big titles are on the way for Microsoft’s Games With Gold for April! As announced today, the company is offering some AAA titles, one of which is fairly new. Xbox One users will receive The Wolf Among Us (available April 1st – April 30th) and Sunset Overdrive (available April 16th -May 15th). Xbox 360 users will receive Dead Space (available April 1st – April 15th) and Saints Row IV (available April 16th – April 30th). Quite an awesome lineup for next month’s Games With Gold. All of these titles were ultimately reviewed and rated fairly well, so you’re definitely not getting any…
Since Nintendo is taking so long in officially revealing their next console–currently titled “NX”–to the general public, it seems that developers with dev kits for the hardware have begun to take matters into their own hands by releasing bits and pieces of information regarding the console, including some new apparent images of the controller. Earlier this month, dual pixels received images from an apparent controller leak which you can check out here. These new images seem to be on-spot in terms of the general design of the controller, that we’ve seen from the leak which took place earlier on in the…
The big trains keep on rolling into the station, with Microsoft bringing more and more great last generation titles to the Xbox One via backwards compatibility. Our most recent additions are some big fan favorites from last generation. Both Dark Souls and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 are now available for Xbox One Backwards Compatibility play. If you’ve purchased the games digitally on the Xbox 360, they should be available and ready to install under your Games screen. If you own the physical copies of the games, however, you’ll be able to simply pop in the disc and install the title on your…
Star Ocean 5 coverage has been making waves over in Japan of late. Entitled Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness, the game will be arriving on PlayStation 4 on March 31st in Japan, while the PlayStation 3 version will be arriving in Japan on April 28th. Both games sport: “Full 1080p up-rendering and enhanced features such as Trophies, Share Play, Remote Play, Activity Feeds and Second Screen support for game manuals with PS Vita or PS App.” It’s also fairly important to note that Manhunt may…
While we’re all still patiently waiting for Call of Duty: Black Ops to arrive on Xbox One backwards compatibility, Microsoft continues to reveal titles that are everything but Black Ops. Regardless, they seem to have some solid titles added to the list with every announcement. 150+ games are currently available as backwards compatible, and three more titles have recently been added to the list: Alan Wake, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and the original PAC-MAN. Alan Wake is without a doubt the most anticipated title from this list, as the game earned many rewards when the title first launched on the Xbox…

As expected, more rumors have begun to roll out regarding the Nintendo NX. The latest rumor has to do with what might be a launch title. Rumor has it that Luigi’s Mansion 3 is currently planned as launch title for the NX. This rumor comes straight from Dual Pixels, who are claiming that the information comes from a source that has been reliable in the past. The source provided the following statement: “Luigi’s Mansion 3 is planned to be Nintendo’s impressive visual launch title. The goal I’ve been told, was when the team at Next Level and EAD Tokyo 2 saw…
It turns out the rumored remake of Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus is likely to be something entirely different, as the developer, Oddworld Inhabitants, has revealed some details regarding the upcoming new title and when it will be available. The upcoming Oddworld title is set to be a sort of re-imagining game (why am I not surprised), featuring events that took place in prior events that took place, but re-told in a much darker manner. The title is officially called ‘Oddworld: Soulstorm’. The developers are currently describing it as “A fresh narrative – a complete story retake inspired by our original tale. A…
Microsoft recently pulled the curtain off a pretty big feature that is soon to make it’s way to the Xbox One, a feature that should make EVERYONE happy. That big feature is in fact, cross-play, that’s right. Microsoft announced earlier Monday that they will be enabling multi-platform cross-play, sometime down the road for the Xbox One. Xbox One users will soon be able to compete with both PC and PlayStation 4 users online for various games that are available on all platforms. One of the first titles that this feature will in fact be working with, so it seems, is…
