Gran Turismo Sport was initially announced back at Paris Games Week 2015, seemingly out of nowhere. While many of us have been expecting for sometime, Sony to announce a Gran Turismo 7, the company seems to have begun taking a Forza like approach on the franchise, beginning to release a side title, before the next mainline game is released. EA’s Star Wars: Battlefront was the hype of the holiday season last year, and the company seems to be revving up the game once more for it’s first official expansion. Star Wars: Battlefront ‘Outer Rim’ will be the first expansion for the title, and has recently been announced to be arriving on April 5th, for a price of $14.99. Those who have purchased season pass for the title will receive ‘Outer Rim’ as well as every other expansion two-weeks ahead of everyone else. As if, Pokken Tournament, Pokemon GO, and Pokemon Sun & Moon were not enough. The Pokemon Company and HEROZ have officially announced yet ANOTHER Pokemon title on the way in 2016. Pokemon Co-Master is an upcoming Smartphone title for Spring 2016. The developer, HEROZ, has bee known for developing chess and backgammon titles in the past, and based off of the announcement trailer for the title, the game is looking to be just that. If you’re interested in getting your hands on the new DOOM title before it officially announces later on in May, you’ll probably be thrilled to hear that another closed beta phase for the title has been announced. The beta is set to run on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, taking place from March 31st to April 3rd. The closed beta however, is only eligible for players who have pre-ordered Wolfenstein: The New Order. If you’re a fan of the Fable franchise, some unfortunate news has been revealed earlier today as it seems we’re going to have to wait, quite possibly, a very long time before we get a new Fable title. Lionhead Studios, the creator and manager of the infamous Fable franchise has revealed to be shutting down today. Microsoft announced that the development of the Fable Legends title has been cancelled, along with the studio behind the franchise. Blizzard has been hard at work on their next, possibly big, FPS franchise – Overwatch for awhile, and it seems the company is just about ready to begin rolling the game out to more users. During Nintendo’s March Direct that took place earlier today, the company announced that favorite titles from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, will be making their way to the 3DS eShop, exclusively for New 3DS/New 3DS XL users. Pilotwings, Super Mario World, and F-Zero for the SNES were available immediately after the presentations conclusions. Yesterday, in another article, I mentioned the possibility of us seeing Crackdown 3 arrive on Windows 10.
