A quick update for all of you LittleBigPlanet fans and players alike out there. According to the games community coordinator, LittleBigPlanet 3 will also be arriving on the PS3! Details regarding the release as well as the differences between the two games have not yet been discussed, but surely expect more news to be coming soon, once a official announcement is rolled out.
Tetris is coming back, and what sounds like in a more “Ultimate” form. This week Ubisoft revealed that their new Tetris title will be arriving on PlayStation 4, Xbox One this summer, along with a PC release in the fall. Considering this is year marks the Tetris franchise’s 30th anniversary, its no surprise that we’d see quick game (or maybe two) being released this year. Tetris Ultimate will be playable on the E3 show-floor next week, and creator of the game Pajitnov will be there as well signing autographs.
Hope you all are ready for a new Borderlands adventure, because the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be launching this October on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3! Bonus content will also be launching along side the game, as well as the “Shock Drop Slaughter Pit” which will allow people to play in arena like format and collect different kinds of loot. Despite the various leaks regarding a new Mortal Kombat that have been spread around the past few weeks, fans have been craving for more info, and have been sensing an official announcement was soon to come. Well, this morning, Ed Boon took to Twitter to officially announce that the next Mortal Kombat title, “Mortal Kombat X” is in fact in the works, and on the way. The next installment of the Halo franchise has officially been revealed. Only a few minutes ago, 343 announced the title, and a few details regarding the next installment of the Halo franchise, entitled “Halo 5: Guardians” 343 confirms that our next Halo journey will begin on Xbox One in fall of 2015! The game has been stated to be much bigger than it’s predecessor “Halo 4” , and will be using the full advantage of the Xbox One, to bring a great new Halo experience. Still waiting to jump on the next gen Nintendo hand-held train, but not too stoked about the whole 3D thing? No problem, Nintendo has a brand new deal for you! From now until May 17th, Nintendo is offereing all Nintendo 2DS hand-helds for $29 off their regular price, reducing it to a solid $99 at Target stores everywhere! Not only is the 2DS cheaper, but it’s also extremely slim, portable, and convenient for travel. The Nintendo 2DS plays all 3DS and DS games, without the 3D functionality of course. Currently, it seems the offer is only available for in-store purchase.
Earlier yesterday Nintendo revealed that coming November this year, a new Ruby & Sapphire Pokemon adventure soon awaits us with Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. In the short trailer that was released it emphasized that the game would feature a Dramatic new World. Looks like details have finally surfaced on when we will be able to get our hands on the new sleeker, slimmer PlayStation Vita model. According to the PlayStation Blog, the new PlayStation Vita bundle which goes along with Boderlands 2 is set to release on May 6th, with the standalone of each to it’s own, releasing on May 13th.
