The Call of Duty community has been stirring quite a bit after it’s official multiplayer/eSports reveal that took place at Gamescom last week. Hunger for the upcoming beta has been brewing and recently, Treyarch has released a brand new trailer which highlights some of the features that we will be getting our hands on when the beta launches, starting next week on PlayStation 4.
Beta players will firstly be able to unlock weapons, perks, scorestreaks, and equipment, much like how you can in the base game. Of course, these won’t be carried over as surely multiple server wipes will take place between now and November. The beta will also feature 7+ multiplayer modes, which will be playable across three different maps.
Specialist classes are going to be a huge deal in Black Ops 3, and the beta has been confirmed to feature 8 of the characters. Each class has their own special weapons and abilities, all of which will be able to be unlocked by playing multiplayer matches.
You will also be able to customize your weapons via the new paint-shop feature, and weapon customization feature like in previous games within the beta.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta will kick off August 19th for all PlayStation 4 users, with the beta arriving on other platforms a little later on.
