If you were perhaps looking for some on road fun along with the launch of the PS4, we’ve got some bad news for you. Sony has confirmed that the rumors of DriveClub being delayed, are in fact true. The game will not be arriving at launch for the PlayStation 4, rather the game has now been slated for a 2014 release. No exact date has been announced as of yet regarding when the game will launch, however according to Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida, he states, “The team requires more time in order to deliver on their vision-and I’m fully confident the game will surpass your expectations.” Alright, Sony, will do, just has long as I’m not waiting a few years for this game to be released like GranTurismo 5, I think I will survive a few months wait.
On the bright side, Sony is now guiding our eyes to Contrast, a launch title that will make up for DriveClub’s absence, which will be exclusive to PlayStation Plus subscribers. Also, a Killzone Shadow Fall multiplier demo will be available on December 28th and 29th, for those of you who are subscribers of PlayStation Plus.
