The latest gameplay footage from Hello Games’ anticipated upcoming survival/exploration title No Man’s Sky was released during the 2015 PlayStation Experience.

Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony’s worldwide studios, was lucky (and happy) enough to be the one experiencing the expansive and futuristic world of No Man’s Sky, which is due for release in summer 2016.

In the clip, a feature of No Man’s Sky’s gameplay that has been previously unenxplored, combat, is showcased as Yoshida blatantly assaults a peaceful robot. Based on Yoshida’s reaction, it seems like he is genuinely having fun, although apparently the weapon in the demo wasn’t strong enough for his liking!

No Man’s Sky, for those that don’t know, is an ambitious and¬†experimental space travel title that has a lot of people, including myself, pretty excited. Stay tuned for more updates on No Man’s Sky as we approach the summer.
