It’s been a long and grueling wait throughout the past few weeks or so, as it seemed ever video game company under the sun had some new news to share regarding upcoming titles and gameplay reveals, as part of all of the Summer Games Fest 2023 madness!

Nintendo, however, had been quite silent in regards to their plans regarding upcoming titles for the remainder of 2023, outside of Pikmin 4; but it seems we’ll finally be introduced to what we can expect for the rest of the year as the company has announced that their second Nintendo Direct showcase of 2023 will take place tomorrow, June 21st at 10am ET/7am PT.

The upcoming Nintendo Direct is said to feature roughly 40 minutes of information regarding upcoming Nintendo Switch titles, mostly launching throughout the remainder of 2023 – including Pikmin 4.

While speculation has been running high and rampant regarding what will be shown during this much highly anticipated Nintendo direct; recent rumors have been strongly pointing towards a new 2D Mario game, as well as an supposed remake of a particular SNES titles. Many have also begun to assume that this will be the final Nintendo Direct that will be purely focused on Switch titles; as Nintendo may be gearing up to switch focus on their new hardware, which is expected to arrive sometime in 2024. As for now, all we can hope for is a solid showcase, hopefully providing an exciting line of upcoming titles to lead us well into the end of the year, and perhaps even the beginning of next year.
