Ever since the official Nintendo Switch reveal that took place via a 3 minute teaser trailer, back in October; Nintendo has been fairly hush-hush regarding their next-gen console, as they announced shortly after the reveal that no further information regarding the system would be announced for the remainder of the year. While this is a bit odd to say the least, especially with the system launching in March; we all expected Nintendo to share brand new details with us during January of 2017, at the absolute latest – and it now seems that will be the case. The company recently…
Ever since the purchase of Marvel Comics by Disney, and the expiration of Capcom’s license with Marvel property expired back in 2013; many fans of the Marvel vs Capcom franchise have been dry out of hope as far as receiving a 4th entry into the franchise goes. Shortly after Disney acquired Marvel comics, it seemed Capcom had lost much of the property to the Marvel characters; ultimately disallowing them to continue the franchise as well as support their already well-established Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3….or so we thought. After many rumors and speculation, recent reports are now claiming that a…

After many scheduling conflicts and balance issues, Tom Clancy’s The Division has seen quite a bumpy road shortly after it’s launch which took place earlier during Spring this year. While the title was initially very praised, many poor updates, bugs, and tweaks, had caused a fair amount of the community to leave the game behind; ultimately leaving the developers in a bit of a scramble. Since then, release scheduling for the last two expansions had been delayed; with the Survival Expansion originally planned for an August release, and the Last Stand expansion originally planned for a Winter 2016 release; Ubisoft…
Not too long ago we learned that Mario would officially be running his way onto iOS, via the title “Super Mario Run” developed by Nintendo. Nintendo has been showing more and more interest in releasing content on Mobile platforms as of lately, and it doesn’t look like they’ll be stopping anytime soon. Super Mario Run was initially announced for a December release, with not much more details other than that. We have recently learned that the game will be a free download; however only certain elements of the games three modes would be playable for free. In order to receive…
2016 seems to be the year of RPG Delay Announcements. With Final Fantasy XV taking a delay from it’s initial September release date, to Kingdom Hearts 2.8 being pushed into 2017 from it’s initial Holiday release date, it seems no RPG is safe when it comes to releasing on time this year. Unfortunately, yet another title, which was also originally slated for a 2016 release but then pushed until February 2017, has been delayed yet again to April 4th, 2017. Yes, that title is the highly anticipated Persona 5. No weeb tears, please. Atlus recently released the following statement regarding…
Tomorrow, November 15th will officially mark the Halo franchises 15th Anniversary. It’s been a pretty amazing 15 years of Halo, even though I personally jumped onto the Halo hype-train a little late (Halo 3). As most of you may already know, Bungie departed from Microsoft after the conclusion of Halo Reach, and the current studio, 343 Industries, has since taken up the mantle for Halo and has been the hands who have developed the last few Halo titles. With that said, many are wondering what the company may have in store for the official 15th Anniversary for the Halo franchise.…
Earlier this year, Square Enix teased us all with the existence of a new Bravely Default title. It’s not surprise that they’d be working on one either, as the company seems to be extremely hard at work on their beloved franchises these day’s, and Bravely Default has quickly become one of them. While during the initial teasing, we didn’t learn much about game itself, aside that a new one was in development; but today, Square Enix finally lifted the veil on some of the details surrounding the game. The official title of the new title is Bravely Default: Fairy’s Effect,…
