Banjo-Kazooie Makes It’s Way BACK to Nintendo This Week

The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion pack is finally getting some more Nintendo 64 titles added to the mix, and next up is the highly beloved Banjo-Kazooie title which originally launched on the N64 back in 1998. The title being available on the expansion pack deal is a pretty big deal considering Microsoft technically owns the right’s to the Banjo IP now; but considering Nintendo and Microsoft have a rather good relationship; it’s safe to assume that this new port of the game was probably possible due to their positive standing.

Embark on a wild quest with an unlikely pair! The adventures of Banjo and Kazooie begin here!

On January 20th the game will finally be available for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers, and should be a great adventure game to help fill the void, and burn time before Legends ARCEUS and the new Kirby game drop. This will also HOPEFULLY get Microsoft to see there is still a very strong interest for the Banjo franchise and who knows; maybe we’ll see a reboot of sorts or a new entry sometime down the line.
