If you’re still sobbing over the recent delay of Final Fantasy XV, you finally stop sobbing for a moment, and checkout some brand spanking new FFXV footage which has just been released! As you may have already known, Gamescom 2016 is kicking off this week, and many developers have begun releasing trailer, teasers, and gameplay footage for some of their upcoming titles which will be playable at the show, Final Fantasy XV is a perfect example.

Square Enix has recently released a 52 minute gameplay trailer for FFXV at Gamescom, which showcases the opening moments of the game, as well as a ton of gameplay which apparently takes place “after the fall”. The footage showcases a bit of the FFXV leveling system, which is being called the “Ascension System”, allowing you to have quite a bit of depth in terms character advancement. The footage also teaches you a little bit about the combat abilities which are present in the game, so upon release date you shouldn’t be completely lost when it comes to the combat system.

Along with this footage, Square Enix also released the first 12 minutes of Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, which is essentially a prequel CGI film to the games story. You can view that first 12 minutes here.

Final Fantasy XV will be available on Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on November 29th.
