We’ve recently already heard the reports regarding Nintendo’s plans to host a private event in New York City this upcoming January to demo and showcase their upcoming Switch console. The event has reportedly been said to also coincide with a live-stream presentation which would be live from Tokyo for those who will be unable to participate in the private showing in NYC.
Finally, the company has formally announced this upcoming event, and is currently titling it the “Nintendo Switch Presentation.” Nintendo fans can basically expect this to be a Direct-like presentation; however, just much more focused on the Switch and it’s features. While details on the Switch have been extremely scarce ever since it’s brief reveal trailer release, back in October; it’s quite likely that we will receive much more in-depth information about the console during this upcoming presentation. Details such as the official launch date, pricing, and launch titles are likely to be announced.
This will definitely be an event you will NOT want to miss out on. The presentation is set to take place on January 12th at 8pm PT/10am CT/11pm ET, and will be available to watch live here.
