For time now, various software and first party companies have begun holding their own annual industry events, where then they announce and reveal details regarding their upcoming products, showcase products that are on the way as well as recently released, and of course uncover all of the secret announcements they’ve been keeping from us for the duration of the previous year. While these many events may have left E3 feeling a bit dry in recent years, it’s also very nice see companies doing their own thing, without constraints and restrictions that may otherwise be forced upon them at another industry event.
The PlayStation Experience Expo is likely the last big gaming convention of the year, and many PlayStation fans have been waiting patiently for the official details regarding the convention. Sony has now updated the PlayStation Experience website, which now reveals the dates as December 3rd-4th, and will be taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Sony is likely to be spending quite a bit of time at the convention talking about the PlayStation VR, as well as some PS4 games which are on the way for 2017. It’s quite likely we’ll see a lot of the Playstation 4 Pro, even though the system will have been available to the public by then. I’m personally crossing my fingers for a Vita sequel, but I know it will never happen.
Sony has shown off quite a few big titles in the past at the PlayStation Experience, so there’s a lot we could see. What are you hoping Sony shows off at the 2016 PlayStation Experience?
