E3 is only a couple of weeks away, and while normally by now most companies would have already announced their dates for their press briefing’s, it seems official date announcements are coming a bit slower this year, despite other reveals that seem to be happening much earlier.
Microsoft/Xbox however has finally unveiled their plans for the online show this year, and has announced that they will be teaming up with their new partner, Bethesda, for a dual Games Showcase of sorts that will take place on Sunday, June 13th at 10am PT/1pm ET. This showcase will in fact be the companies main E3 press showing, as well as Bethesda’s, but now all taking place together in one 90 minute showcase. We’ll learn more about which partnered titles will be headed to Xbox and GamePass as well as more general Xbox related announcements and titles not affiliated with Bethesda.
It’s definitely going to be a packed show, and the first E3 show to essentially be two different companies teaming up for one showcase. We’ll quite possibly hear updates regarding Starbound, a title that was announced some years ago, and has recently been reported to now be an Xbox exclusive, perhaps a new Fallout, and quite possibly an update on Elder Scrolls VI, a title we all know it still VERY far off, but will almost certainly arrive at some point during this console generation.
What are you personally hoping to see during the Xbox/Bethesda showcase? My eyes are all on Halo: Infinite. Let us know on social media @EXP4ALL
