With EA and Square Enix recently having announced their Press Conference plans for this years E3, other companies are beginning to follow suit as PC Gamer has just revealed plans regarding their presence at E3 2016. PC Gamer has announced that they will be bringing back the PC Gaming Show, which is basically a PC Games focused Press Conference. Activision’s quarterly earnings call took place earlier today, and with this the company has shed some light on their plans regarding the future of Destiny, and what is to come down the line. Surprisingly, Activision has revealed that we will be seeing a Major expansion for the title release this year, with a full fledged sequel next year. “Activision Publishing, along with its partners at Bungie, expects to bring a large new expansion to Destiny in 2016 and to release a full game sequel in 2017” Activision also stated that 25 million players have logged more than 3 billion hours into Destiny. Earlier yesterday, President and CEO of SEGA, Hajime Satomi, confirmed that a Sonic the Hedgehog movie is indeed on the way and is currently slated to be released in 2018. The Sonic the Hedgehog movie has been confirmed to be both animated and live action. “Sega Sammy Group is currently planning with Sony Pictures to create a live-action and animation hybrid “Sonic the Hedgehog” movie scheduled for release in 2018. It’s an exciting day for all of you who are fans of the DOOM franchise. Earlier today, Bethesda and Id Software released a brand new Campaign Trailer for their upcoming title DOOM. Club Nintendo is making a comeback as we slowly make our way into Spring this March…well sort of. During Nintendo’s financial results briefing that took place earlier this week, president of the company, Tatsumi Kimishima, announced that the successor to Club Nintendo, “My Nintendo”, will be officially launching in the U.S as well as 38 other countries sometime this coming March.
