It’s been a long time coming for Animal Crossing fans (this heavily includes myself), but finally, after what has felt like years – Nintendo has finally announced when fans can expect to receive the next big batch of information regarding the upcoming Switch entry in the franchise “Animal Crossing: New Horizons”. The company announced earlier on social media this afternoon that they would be holding a special Animal Crossing Direct focused live-stream on Thursday, February 20th (exactly one month from the games official release), with the direct providing an “in-depth” look at the game. Tune in on February 20 at…
Nintendo seems to be keeping the announcement live-stream ball rolling for the start of this year, as the company held a Game Freak Pokemon Direct last week, and now, a special video broadcast for ‘Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’ coming this week, which will feature the games director Masahiro Sakurai who will be unveiling a brand new DLC character. The new DLC character will surely be the final character for the “Fighters Pass #1” for the game, which has steadily been receiving DLC characters since it’s release roughly a year and change ago. Fans have already begun to speculate who this…
Out of all of the games set to arrive in the year 2020, Final Fantasy 7 Remaster was always the title I personally found to be most likely to receive a delay, even if it is only a small one. Yes that is correct, Square Enix manage to shatter the hearts of all Cloud Strife and Tifa lovers out there today with the announcement that the highly anticipated, ‘Final Fantasy VII Remake’ title, would be seeing a delay from it’s March 3rd release, to April 10th, 2020. It’s a small delay in all honesty, but a HUGE title to be…
Since the launch of Xbox Game Pass on PC, many PC gamer’s are likely adopting Microsoft’s fairly new subscription service, even more so now than Gears 5 launched as a playable title on the service, which most certainly brought many new people to the service in general. While the catalog of available Xbox Game Pass PC titles are already quite decent, Microsoft has recently announced a couple new titles which are headed to the service very soon: Bad North DiRT Rally 2.0 Cities: Skylines Saints Row IV: Re-Elected While no, none of those titles are Halo MCC for PC…
Fans have waited years, literally, for the next part in the ‘The Last of Us’ story, and fortunately, they will not have to wait much longer. Announced over on the PlayStation ‘State of Play’ broadcast this afternoon, Sony revealed some of the upcoming titles coming to the PlayStation 4 platform, and while nothing too crazy was announced, ‘The Last of Us Part 2’ was not only the biggest shown off game during the broadcast, but also the final title shown. It was worth the wait however, as fans received a brand new trailer for the game which featured some story…
It has been a good long while since we’ve last heard from Sony, in an organized fashion, regarding the upcoming titles the company has headed to their PlayStation platform, as well as what they may have in the works that we have not yet heard about! 2019 thus far has been the year of “silent Sony” as the company has not only skipped out on E3 this year, but also Gamescom as well and even more recently, the Tokyo Game Show! While many are suspecting that PlayStation’s absence from these events is mainly due to Sony trying to build the…
We’re still several months out till our next big Pokemon adventure takes place, and while many are still a bit unhappy in regards to the current state of the upcoming Sword & Shield titles – on the bright side, the Pokemon Company still seems to be very committed to keeping us all up to date with the latest developments, and not leaving us in a dry spell up until the games launch. The next batch of information regarding the titles has recently been announced to be arriving later this week, August 7th to be exact! The official Pokemon social media…
Luigi’s Mansion 3 has been in the works for sometime now, and while Nintendo has spent quite a bit of this year showing off the game every chance they get – up until now we’ve received very little word regarding when we might receive the game. Fortunately though, Nintendo will be getting into the Holiday spirit when it comes to the Luigi’s Mansion 3 launch, as the company will be going out of their way to actually release a game that’s not on a Tuesday or Friday! That’s right, in case you don’t know, Halloween actually lands on a Thursday…
With E3 being long behind us, and many of the biggest announcements in gaming having already been revealed for 2019, you would think that companies would have little to no surprises left up their sleeve. Well, that doesn’t seem to be the case for Nintendo. Earlier last week, the company took the internet by storm after announcing a brand new “Lite” model of their Nintendo Switch console. A portable only version of the system which is sleeker, smaller, and optimized for handheld play only. While the system doesn’t have any significant improvements over the standard version of the Switch (aside…
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has seen some very amazing additions to the cast ever since the not only the game was revealed, but also since the Fighters Pass has officially kicked off. While many thought nothing could top the hype of Joker from Persona 5 being added into the game – fans we met with a reality check during Nintendo’s E3 Direct Presentation which recently took place; as the company announced not just one new DLC character headed to the game, but two characters, both coming this year! The first reveal was one many have expected to eventually be added…
