Today Activision held a Call of Duty: Ghosts Livestream dubbed “All Access” to reveal our first solid glimpse of the game in action. In addition to showing two levels from the game’s single player campaign Infinity Ward revealed some insight into the games next gen engine and how the story is being constructed by Oscar winner Stephen Gaghan. Today IGN released a 1 minute teaser of what to expect from Call of Duty Ghost’s gameplay reveal. The livestream will begin at 11AM PDT on the official Call of Duty website tomorrow. In addition to the tease of Ghost’s underwater gameplay, the site also released new information on the game’s multiplayer mode and new story details. Legend of Zelda fans rejoice! Oracles of Ages, and Seasons, is now available on the eShop! Fans have waited quite awhile to see these two classics brought back onto the modern day handheld format, (that in which being the 3DS). Head on over to the “Virtual Console” section on the Nintendo eShop and grab both of these classics for $5 each. The price will be bumped up a buck to $6 each after June 20th, so if you’d like to get a slight bargain go pick up these games today while the deal is still present!
Wargaming, the creators of “World of Tanks” have announced that they will have a 10,000 square foot booth at E3 this coming June. Several new titles we be announced by them this year at the Expo, however what’s unique about this round of announcements, is that they will be revealing their first ever console title, which is being developed by Wargaming West. At the booth they will also be showing World of Warplanes, and World of Warships, which will be their first ever public showing.
That’s right Nintendo fans, Nintendo has announced out of the blue once again, that there will be a Nintendo Direct happening tomorrow morning! The official Stream page states that this Direct will feature new updates and info regarding several Wii U & 3DS titles that are set to release this Summer. They have also stated that they will be holding another Nintendo Direct before the start of E3 that will focus on Wii U titles releasing this fall and onward. Today at SilverStone, Sony Computer Entertainment announced the next expansion to the GranTurismo series. GranTurismo 6 was announced as a PS3 title, scheduled to launch this holiday season. With the development of the game, Sony has insured us that the game will be expandable on various ends, and will evolve over time. This makes me believe that we might not see a new GT7 for some time now, yet instead, they will be building upon this game. A few days ago we posted an article regarding the confirmation of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate. Now, recently, Team Ninja has officially announced the game and released a trailer along with it as well. The game will include various modes from Dead or Alive 5 Plus from the PlayStation Vita, and will also feature new cameos, stages, and characters. Momiji is one of the new characters that will be added to the roster within this game. Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will be arriving on Xbox 360 & PS3 this fall. Being a huge fan of the GT series, this speculation has gotten me feeling all giddy inside. Sony has announced that on May 15th, they will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of the series. Part of the celebration will a reveal of an update to the series from the lead designer Kazunori Yamauchi. All of our hopes of hearing some juicy news out of Nintendo around E3 time are not quite shattered anymore! It has been announced that Reggie & Miyamoto will both be hosting a Pre-E3 Presentation, prior to the opening of the show floors. Though this will not be their regular format, where they will hold a regular scale press conference, we can definitely expect some announcements to come out of this presentation. According to this weeks issue of Famitsu, a re-release of Dead or Alive 5 is in the works! And according to Siliconera, the new version, will be called Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate. This new version has been said to include new characters, that are not related to the Ninja Gaiden series. It has been rumored that the re-release will be on both Xbox 360 & PS3 this fall, however, no official confirmation of this has been made as of yet.
