A recent Forbes interview with head Titanfall writer Jesse Stern proved to be very revealing in regards to the upcoming sequel’s direction and vision. In the interview, it was revealed that Titanfall 2 be going multi-platform. The original Titanfall was an Xbox exclusive which ultimately must have hurt its sales in the long run. Coming out February 16th for PC and PS4, Capcom’s latest installment of its iconic fighter title just got a brand new cinematic trailer released. With less than a week until launch, and with a story mode promised as a free update later this year, Capcom appears to be appealing to nostalgia with its trailer emphasizing familiar faces. Warner Bros. entertainment and TT games have officially announced the speculated Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens, set to drop for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and PC on June 28th, 2016. Relatively unknown UK based developer TT games reveals the title features a new combat mechanic and building mechanic, although details remain in short supply. Famed strategy franchise Sid Meier’s Civilization and developer Firaxis Games appear to be having some issues exporting their product to PS Vita. The hugely popular iOS and Android game Civilization Revolution 2 was previously scheduled to be released on portable platform PlayStation Vita in December 2015. Shortly before launch, it was announced that launch had been postponed until January 26th, 2016. Now, Firaxis and Sid Meier studios are announcing again that released is being pushed back, this time to the ambiguous “sometime later this year [2016]”. With the latest post on the official PlayStation blog, developer Naughty Dog has added a little humbug to your holiday cheer by revealing that the highly anticipated Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been again postponed, this time until April 26th, 2016. Originally scheduled for a fall 2015 release, Uncharted 4 has now been postponed twice. The latest gameplay footage from Hello Games’ anticipated upcoming survival/exploration title No Man’s Sky was released during the 2015 PlayStation Experience. Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony’s worldwide studios, was lucky (and happy) enough to be the one experiencing the expansive and futuristic world of No Man’s Sky, which is due for release in summer 2016. In the clip, a feature of No Man’s Sky’s gameplay that has been previously unenxplored, combat, is showcased as Yoshida blatantly assaults a peaceful robot. Studio Ghibli and Level-5 games are teaming up again to bring a sequal to the PS3’s Ni no Kuni to PS4; Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. No release was given when the announcement was made during today’s live stream of the 2015 PlayStation Experience convention in San Francisco, going all day today and tomorrow, but nonetheless, this announcement has me very excited.
